Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa is a pro-life feminist who lives in Richardson, Texas where she runs the consistent life ethic group, New Wave Feminists. Her activism is rooted humanizing all human beings from womb to tomb, and building bridges so communities can better support women, children, and families.
NWF currently has two shelters along the Texas/Mexico border serving pregnant and parenting mothers and their children. She also speaks at colleges and helps pregnant moms in the states by offering them practical support.
Destiny is a frequent contributor to The Dallas Morning News, and her organization, New Wave Feminists, has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic. Destiny herself has been featured on Vice, BBC, and NPR’s “All Things Considered.”

The Club operates its Flag Program with the support of local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Jr. ROTC detachment members who share in the revenue. Net proceeds benefit Richardson Rotary Foundation’s college scholarships (over $500,000 committed to 93 recipients since 1983), plus various club-supported programs and charities.
